Story

A thoughtful tale, the story begins with Satya (Chaitu) who comes to Hyderabad from Vizag after discontinuing his studies. He lives with his uncle (sunil) and soon begins to involve in the affairs of the notorious MGM college that has gang wars, student politics, ragging and all bad things. There are two groups who believe a lot in Durga Rao (JD) fondly known as Anna. In no time, Satya becomes their enemy and they try to harm him but he is there for a reason and a mission. Also, he has a romantic track with Nitya (karthika). Is he successful in his mission or not forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

The director has come up with a thoughtful plot and though the presentation was good, the narrative could have been better. The dialogues were neat, the script was sensible and the screenplay was apt. The background score was okay and not much in the songs except one number. Cinematography was excellent and so was the editing. Costumes did a good job and the art department also made their presence felt. Chaitanya did a good job for a newcomer and has shown ease in front of the camera. Karthika was not attractive but she put good energy in her performance. JD was okay, Prakashraj was effective, Sunil was hilarious, Hema was standard, Brahmanandam could have been in a better way. The others contributed their bit as required.

Analysis:

The film is not a high voltage action treat like 'Shiva' but then there is enough pace in the film to keep the audience busy. While the first half goes off smoothly without any hitches, the second half gets dragged a bit due to the melodrama but the climax was okay. Overall, the film is not one to leave a strong impact but it sure has a strong message for the college going and the student generation. The technical values were good and the performances were neat. This will be a profit grosser at the box offi
